With colder months upon us I wanted to stock up on some nice hair and body butters for some major moisturizing. From Belle Butters, I chose the Unyevu Butter and the Double Agent Butter.
Let’s start with the Unyevu, this butter is made with unrefined shea butter, raw pressed mango butter, refined avocado butter, apricot kernel oil, neem oil, sunflower oil, fragrance. This one is lightly scented with a mix of spicy ginger, amber and vanilla, which I love. It is the texture of whipped butter, not so much a cream...and it just melts into the skin, leaving it so soft and moisturized. This can be used on the hair or the skin, but I have decided to keep this one for myself and use it on my skin this winter, because it is wonderful!!!
Next up is the Double Agent Hair and Body Butter, which I have also tried on my skin and it is amazing as well. This one is made with unrefined shea butter, avocado butter, acai butter, cranberry seed oil, camelina seed oil, jojoba oil, fragrance. It has an earthy aroma to it, and has more of a creamy texture. Honestly, I probably use this for myself more than I use it for D’s hair, which was it’s original purpose, lol, I can’t help it, I love it! But I have used it on her hair... I used it to do 4 rolling twists on the side of her head and banded the rest of her hair, to take down the next day for school. It made her hair super soft. The only photo’s I managed to take where after school, but her hair still looked good.
That evening, I added some more Double Agent Butter and lightly banded it in one big pony.
And actually, I probably could have done without the extra butter that night, the next morning it looked like I might have used too much:
But, regardless, she rocked it with a cute headband :)
The headband is actually a pin from Pixie Dust Boutique, but I wanted her to wear it in her hair, so I pinned it to our white crocheted headband from Diva Do’s...makes a pretty awesome headband, if I do say so myself!

Oh wow! Her hair looks gorgeous! I need to look into this!
