I always like to send Christmas card photos to family members whom we don’t get to see often enough. Now I can do that with Postcardly without ever having to go to the Post Office...not that I’m too lazy to go to the post office, but it is such a hassle with the kids and it is one of my least favorite errands!
Postcardly is a new online service that allows you to easily send a snail mail photo to a family member or friend via their website. It was founded in 2010 in Seattle by three family guys—Paul Hughes (freelance writer, loyal grandson), Tom Marshall (internet advertising guru, baker), and Eric Frederickson (business whiz, daddy).
Postcardly allows you to:
Create and send a postcard from a single email.
Send postcards from your phone, computer, or anywhere you have email.
No app, nothing to download.
3-postcard FREE TRIAL available
Reasonable rate options to choose from:
$19.99 for 20 prepaid postcards
5 postcards a month for $4.99/month, or 15 postcards a month for $9.99/month
additional postcards for 99 cents each
price includes postage
Once you sign up and log on you create email addresses that represent the physical addresses you are wanting to send postcards to. After that is done you simply email your photo to the email address you created and Postcardly takes over by printing the photo and mailing it to the associated physical address. This is a one time set up, so after that you just go in and email (for example) grandma@postcardly.com and the photo will be sent to grandma’s home. Pretty cool, huh? I know Postcardly is going to be a great service for me this holiday season.
Do you still send traditional holiday cards and photos via snail mail? or are you totally electronic?
