When I was given the chance to try Benecos Natural Maximum Volume Mascara I was a little iffy but excited at the same time. I was eager to see if there was a mascara in existence that I would actually be able to wear without eye irritation.
Benecos Natural Maximum Volume Mascara comes in deep black and smooth brown and sells for $16.49. It is made especially for sensitive eyes and contains natural and organic ingredients: Water, Grain Grain Alcohol*, Beeswax*, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-5 Laurate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Acacia Senegal Gum, Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate, Carnauba Wax*, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Glyceryl Caprylate, Jojoba Seed Oil*, P-Anisic Acid, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Sunflower Seed Oil*, Sodium Hydroxide, Limonene, Vitamin E, Fragrance, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder*, Citral, Linalool, Iron Oxides
I've had great results with this mascara, it is smooth, thick, doesn't clump and it gives my lashes length and volume without the irritation. Finally a mascara that I truly like to wear!
I also received the Lavera Organic Mineral Eye Shadow duo in light green and olive, which is what I have on, along with the mascara, in the photo to the right. I typically go for a natural look when I wear eye shadow and these earthy tones provide a subtle hint of color with a little shimmer.
You can purchase this duo for $17.60 on Love True Naturals, as well as many other colors and shades. The ingredients for the Lavera Organic Mineral Eye Shadow: Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, Tricaprylin, Vitamin E, Glycine Soja Oil*, Jojoba Oil*, Olive Fruit Oil*, Calendula Extract*, Ceramide 3, may contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Violet, Iron Oxides, Ultramarines, Chromium Oxide Green
So, how often do you wear make up? Do you typically just stick to wearing only eye make up, just lip gloss, etc?
Nice review! I too have a hard time with mascara. I wear very little make-up but I do like to make my eyes stand out. I have Pinned your post so I can remember the name of the mascara. Thanks
ReplyDeleteSo cool! I have the same problems wearing mascara: -/ but fortunately( unless it's allergy season) I can resist the urge to rub my eyes: -). I definitely think this would be a cool product to try!
ReplyDeleteOooo I love makeup! Looks like a great mascara and those eyeshadow duo colors look great. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ashley, glad you enjoyed the review.
Deleteoooooo your lashes look great!
ReplyDeleteHonestly I don't even wear makeup. Which is funny considering I own a beauty blog, but I'm just more into hair and skin care. Great post! :D
ReplyDeleteLol, I hear ya, those are my main interest as well, but if I can find make up that won't irritate and break out my skin I would possible wear it more often.
DeleteI love cosmetics! Thanks for sharing these products!
ReplyDeleteI can clearly see how the mascara has thickened your lashes. Lucky girl to receive such nice things :)
ReplyDeleteit looks good on you, i might have to go get me some
ReplyDeleteYour lashes are fantastic!!! Love that there is no clumpiness.
ReplyDeleteChar~
thank you, dear
DeleteLove the picture of your eyelashes. They look great. I never wear makeup. The last time I wore any was for my wedding. I have been wanting to try dabbling in it though.
ReplyDeleteWow, since your wedding, huh? Well, I've enjoyed the dabbling I've done lately.
DeleteI am a beauty nut over here. Never heard of this company before so thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this product with us. Something to remember about mascara is that they have a very short shelf life which might have been what was making your eyes itchy. A tube of mascara should only be kept around for 3 or 4 months after that bacteria can grow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Felissa, I did not realize that, I will definitely remember it!
DeleteGreat review, this is the first I'm hearing of these items. That eyeshadow duo is perfect for daytime wear, very earthy & gorgeous. I typically wear eyeliner & mascara and sometimes eye shadow. If I wear lipstick or gloss I tend to stick to nudes or light colors. I only put full makeup on for events.
ReplyDeleteSame here, rarely do I put full make up on and I love the natural earthy shades and typically I just stick to my natural chap stick for the lips.
DeleteI am with you, I were a little bit eye shadow and mascara and eyeliner. Usually I stick to brown tones but I like this green and am wondering if because I have green eye's it will bring out the green in my eye's. I also like mascara that adds volume. I will have to check over the site. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome, Kat. Let me know if you decide to try them. I bet the green would look great on you and bring out your eyes. I'd love to see it.
Deletelove makeup, wish I could apply it more professionally. I usually use the same 3 colors of eye shadow, cause that's all I have, mascara, eye brow liner, lip balm, and a very light powder foundation...But it doesn't mean if I knew how to apply it all with expertise, I'd probably wear a lot more. lol.
ReplyDeleteLol, I've been working on my applying make up skills too, there are some great YT tutorials for eye shadow out there.
DeleteI was JUST thinking about how icky mascara must be and was looking for a more natural version! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love make up and mascara is a HUGE must have for me. I need to check this out.
ReplyDeleteGreat review, Brooke! The mascara looks great, nothing clumpy or messy about it!
ReplyDeleteI love makeup. This look great, especially the eyeshadow colors!
